WoW Classic Enchanting Profession Guide
Who wouldn’t want a profession that allows players to add buffs on their weaponries? Well, this profession also has the ability to let you craft consumables, reagents and wands that can also be used by others. Another fun fact is that enchanters can disenchant an item to obtain useful materials out of it, which can then be used to enchant or can be sold at the auction house for in-game gold. This is one of the reasons why enchanting can be quite profitable in the case of both PVE and PVP. To perform an enchant, you will need to have a rod in your inventory, and levelling up in your profession will require different rods on different stages. These rods can be crafted through your enchanting spellbook.
Being a WoW Classic player, you must already be aware that you can have two primary professions at a time, and enchanting acts as a primary profession in-game. So, it can be best paired with leatherworking, blacksmithing or tailoring to help generate gears that can be disenchanted. Although, tailoring is the most preferred one because you can simply loot the cloth required for tailored items, without needing to learn a gathering profession.
Classes Best Suited to Learn Enchanting
For druid class players, who are interested in tanking, enchanting is essential to crafting the item ‘Smoking Heart of the Mountain’ trinket, which can be dropped afterwards. Mages, Priests and Warlocks need wands to level up, and enchantment is an easy source to obtain a lesser & greater magic wand. They also have the ability to make wizard oils, which is a form of consumable used by casters.
How is Enchanting Performed?
You can cast an enchant on your gear, as well as other players related to your fraction by using the trade interface. Simply open a trade, have the other player add their item in the ‘will not be traded’ section of the interface, at the bottom, and then just choose your desired enchant and click on the item to cast the spell.
