To achieve these levels, players need a lot of material and Lost ark gold. This is where alts kick as they help you get these items for free. Importance of Low-Level Alts
To understand why you should work on low-level alts, here are the three reasons. This way, you will get the motivation to spend your time grinding for upgrading these alts as well.
1. Bifrost
Bifrost is a very important feature in Lost Ark that will reduce your time and effort to travel. To travel by sea, you have to set sail which is a very time taking process. You can use both alts and Bifrost systems to save some time on traveling. For this method, you have to save a Bifrost location right in front of a merchant. You can also complete Una's tasks to reduce traveling time. Building your relationship with NPCs will also aid in traveling.
2. Una's Task
To better your reputation, you need to complete Una's tasks. With all that reputation, you will get skill potions and masterpieces easily. When you reach a specific reputation with a character in Lost Ark, you will receive some extra rewards as well. For each character, you can complete a limited number of Una's tasks. For now, the limit is three tasks for each character, and you can complete these tasks three days a week. To increase rewards, you can create alts and complete these tasks on them. You have to manage tasks between the main and alts. Complete tasks for getting material on the main while getting the ground done with Una's tasks on the alt. The game enables players to stack the reputation. There is weekly progress in the game that fills up when you complete all the daily and weekly tasks. This bar fills with your progress from all the alts and mains, so creating alts is beneficial. When the progress bar reaches a specific goal, you will get Una's tokens that can be exchanged with gold at any merchant on the map.
3. Materials Supply
You can upgrade your character swiftly in the start, but there will be a time when you can't upgrade it anymore because of a lack of items and gold. With alts, you don't have to worry about gold and items. No matter what items with which character, you can share them with your complete roster. Sell any extra items for gold as well.
How to transfer items on the roster?
If you are managing multiple accounts at the same time, you will surely want to transfer those items. To do so, you can go to the inventory and hover over the desired item to check whether it is tradable or non-tradable, bound to an account, or binds when it is obtained. For tradable or bound-to-account items, you can share them with all your character. If you take part in raids and dungeons, most items you will get will be tradable except for shards and runes that are bound to that character only. For accessories, gems, materials, etc., you can transfer them between your main and alts. With alts, you will have gold and silver in no time. You can use these currencies for any account you want. Silver is mostly neglected by players, but they actually need it and need a lot of silver to upgrade their main character.
When to level an alt character?
At some point in Lost Ark, you will surely want to upgrade your alt after you have maxed out the main character. Each player receives two power passes. The second power pass is given to players after they use the first one.
